Volleyball is a very popular sport in Slovenia, with more than 240 clubs registered, and it is the popularity of this sport that inspired ACH, d.d., to support, jointly with several of its subsidiaries, one of the volleyball clubs. Thus, for the fifth consecutive season, ACH, d.d., is the general sponsor of the ACH Volley volleyball club from Bled with a home sports hall in Radovljica. The 2008/2009 season has proven to be very successful for the ACH Volley club. For the second consecutive year, the team participated in the most prestigious European league, the Champions League, earning the opportunity to advance into the second round of the competition. The club ended the season with another national and cup title win and with second place in the Central-European Volleyball League for men. All this has contributed greatly to the popularisation of volleyball in general, as its good organisation helped the ACH Volley team draw thousands of volleyball fans to the Champions League matches at the Tivoli sports hall in Ljubljana, and the number of people watching the ACH Volley matches live on TV is increasing every year. This was among the reasons why the team again received a special invitation of the Luxembourg-based CEV to participate in the 2009/2010 season of this highly prestigious European competition. This serves as another acknowledgement of the extremely successful work of the ACH Volley team and its general sponsor, ACH, d.d., in a line of acknowledgements received within the last five years.

Excellent results invite the company to continue supporting ACH Volleyball Club and thus consolidate its recognisability and reputation. By supporting Slovene volleyball, the Company aims to popularise this sport, especially among the younger generations.
